Gross is a senior level professional with over 40 years of experience in the construction industry. He has taken a leadership role with premier construction companies in prestigious projects in the United States and the Caribbean valued over $2.7 billion.
He has an extensive history building luxury residential properties, multi-use properties, and residential towers nationwide as a senior executive level manager for companies including Bovis Lend Lease and WCI Communities. He has also led design and legal teams through all phases of pre-development and construction for global hospitality brands, including Fairmont, Marriot, Westin, and Regent. Projects in which Kenneth has played a key hands-on leadership role include One Bal Harbour, a $500 million, 5-star condominium hotel property in Bal Harbour; The Continuum Residential Tower, a $100 million, 40-story luxury residential property on Miami’s South Beach; the $40 million historic renovation of the Doral Hotel in Miami Beach; and, Marriott Ocean Village Resort, a $250 million beachfront resort in Hollywood with a world-class spa, 18,000 square foot convention center, and over 20,000 square feet of retail space.
Kenneth began his construction career building luxury single-family homes and multifamily residential complexes in the Northeastern United States.
Todd C. Pennington | Strategic Operations Partner
Todd Pennington is a visionary strategist and proven business leader with over 28 years of experience at the top levels of the construction and real estate development industry. As an Executive Committee member and leader of Bovis Lend Lease for over 24 years, Todd developed and led teams and clients to the successful delivery of over 100 projects consisting of 45 million square feet of building area, including over 27,000 habitable units, valued in excess of $20 billion. These projects, constructed in 56 cities across 8 states through various market cycles, were all delivered with no claims or disputes.
Todd has led large programs, mega projects, offices and regional business units across the United States. His areas of expertise include master planning, due diligence, preconstruction management (planning, team assembly, contracts, BIM, design, pricing and scheduling), and project execution. In addition, Todd has a demonstrated track record in development of company strategy, systems, risk management, and sales and operations analysis. He started and built Bovis’ Miami office, which, by the early 2000s, emerged as Florida’s largest contractor. Projects he has built or renovated in Miami Beach include Il Villaggio Condominium, the Loews Miami Beach, and the Delano Hotel. In the greater Miami area Todd led development of the Santa Maria Condominium, the Millennium Miami/Four Seasons Brickell, and Espirito Santo Plaza.
As Capponi Construction Group’s Strategic Operations Partner Todd leads strategic growth and business planning activities, relationship development and management of key contracts. Todd is responsible for developing Capponi Construction Group as a lean, modern and streamlined firm prepared for the next boom in the South Florida construction market. To that end, he is also focused on the critical tasks of team building and the implementation of key processes and control systems.
Todd holds a BS in Construction Management from California State University at Chico and an MBA from Pepperdine University. He has also completed executive leadership programs at Columbia University, FMI and the Center for Creative Leadership. In 2011, he founded Pennington & Company, LLC, a boutique consulting, advisory and strategy enterprise focused on growing companies, delivering projects and solving problems in the built environment with sustainable strategies and optimized solutions.

Robert Wrieden is a 30-year veteran of the construction industry with nearly $1 billion in residential and commercial projects in the United States and the Caribbean to his credit. The majority of the projects he has spearheaded are in Florida, where he has been a licensed and certified general contractor since 1983.
Robert was formerly the East Coast Senior Vice President and Director of Construction for WCI Communities, Inc., where he led the company’s residential division. Prior to joining Capponi Construction Group as Executive Vice President of Construction and a Managing Member, he was a Managing Member of RCW Construction & Consulting.
In addition to extensive experience with luxury singlefamily residences, Robert has led the construction of mid- and high-rise multi-family residential properties, luxury garden-style apartment complexes, and townhouses.
Robert’s background in commercial construction projects includes shopping centers, parking garages, office buildings, hospitality properties, retirement club facilities, restaurants, golf courses, warehouses, light industrial, and high-security federal government vault room installations. He has significant experience interfacing and negotiating with site planners, civil engineers, owners, architects, MEP engineers, banks, and financial institutions in relation to owner concept and architectural intent. He is experienced with historical restoration and preservation as well as environmental remediation.
As Vice President of Construction at Capponi Construction Group, Robert takes a leadership role in directing challenging projects from conceptual design to development of proformas, budgets, business plans, estimate budget summaries, value engineering, site safety, logistics plans, project quality control programs, risk management, and contracting means and method procedures.
Robert has completed extensive university-level coursework in engineering and business administration. He is certified by Green Advantage® for analysis of energy cost saving designs and alternative energy concepts applicable to both residential and commercial projects, and is pursuing LEED AP certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.

Over the course of his career, Glen has had primary management responsibility for projects with a total construction value in excess of $2 billion. He has deep experience with a comprehensive range of project types, including luxury high-rise condominiums, custom unit build-outs, hotel resorts, casinos, residential estates, retail complexes, restaurants, nightclubs, spas, historic restorations, office parks, and master planned developments.
Among the high-profile projects Glen has managed are the 65-story Fontainebleau Resort & Casino in Las Vegas; three 38-story towers at the Signature at MGM Grande in Las Vegas; three 40-story condominium towers and a 70,000 square foot clubhouse, gatehouse and sales center at Turnberry Place in Las Vegas; renovation of four hotels at the Atlantis Resort & Casino in Nassau, Bahamas; Porto Vita in Aventura, where he oversaw construction of a 15-story luxury condominium and a 30,000 square foot clubhouse; and Truman Annex in Key West, where he was the construction manager for a master planned community, including six condominium projects, four historic restorations, and 12 custom homes.

Dana Nichols with over 25 years of experience in the construction industry began his career as an owner of a high-end millwork company. He then spent the next decade as General Superintendent, building high-end multi-million dollar residential projects throughout Florida for national construction firms and major developers. Tim Shook has over 17 years of experience in the construction industry and brings a strong track record in implementing cutting-edge construction methods that facilitate an efficient building process and result in higher quality properties. Edwin Sellers Jr. serves Capponi Construction group as a Project Engineer and Development Analyst. Along with normal Project Engineer duties, Edwin prepares estimates, contract procurement, development due diligence/ analysis, and document control.
Edwin Sellers is a 3rd generation contractor and has been in the industry since 2003. He began as an unskilled laborer and worked his way through the ranks to foreman then to Project Engineer. He has worked on Healthcare, Public, High-rise, Office, Pharmaceutical, Luxury Retail and Residential projects. He has been involved in over 600 million dollars of construction contracts and development programs. He is a graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management. He holds a Florida General Contractors License, making him one of the youngest license holders in the state. He brings a fresh perspective to the construction team in a rapidly evolving industry.

His focus is to have a complete understanding, with a confident process of selling, buying and custom building exceeding all partners’ expectations, from day one and far into the future.
Randall has over 40 years of sales experience, marketing and coordinating the design and construction of Mega-Yachts both Power & Sail. He has extensive experience with construction yards in Holland, Italy and the USA building custom Yachts capable of going anywhere in the world with pure luxury, safety and elegance. Building a large custom Yacht is much like building a custom home.
